The story of Liv
Life is what happens to you while you're making other plans. That is how spiritual development works. You don't always know where you're heading along the way. In fact, who knows how often you turn in the same circle and a breakthrough is truly welcome. Fortunately, there is no guru, coach or teacher in the world who can speed up that process.
The journey of the soul is unfathomable and brings us to the most pure expression that life has to offer. Often this is mistakenly received by us as negative, while the Spirit World is complimenting you on the place where you are allowed to be right now.
My approach to spiritual guidance
That is the starting point for my guidance of others. I cannot clear the path for you, but I will always provide the perspective of an enlightened journey that begins with a simple step. Together we work on old obstacles and habits that have long since stopped bearing fruit. The goal? To help you find the way back to the heart, so that you can set a direction towards the destination you are heading for.
It moves me deeply to be able to mean something to so many people now, however small or large. Self-love, insights and choices are central and bring you new opportunities and perspectives. What happens when you dare to surrender yourself to the process transcends all understanding.
The remarkable story of Joyce
Such is the remarkable story of Joyce. Without knowing in advance where the journey would lead, we met during the annual training. Her tireless commitment and perseverance brought a conviction I had rarely encountered before. As the year progressed, she found safety in the group to make space for her fragile heart and surrender to it.
What followed was a deep connection with the Spirit World and a moving contact. On the last day I suddenly realised why we had walked this part of the path together. It showed me why she had come. A year later a beautiful book is being created that tells the story of a Soul in transit and her Mission to bring light to this world.
Gratitude for the trust
For me as a Medium, deeper relationships such as that with Joyce and her husband Ernst-Jan are a confirmation of what I have come to bring. With a deep gratitude for their trust in allowing me to make a difference.
This journey of spiritual guidance goes beyond coaching — it is an honourable exchange between souls who meet at the right moment, ready to grow and transform together.
The story of Ilone
The consultation with Eric truly touched me. I know many mediums, but the way Eric so lovingly and respectfully chooses his words and conveys the story, I find very special. He took me on a glimpse into my life and my development, with beautiful and wise messages from the spirit world. I am very grateful for that.

On light, love and your place in a changing world
If this bottle message has washed up at your feet, then it was meant to be. I am glad you took the trouble to pick it up. It contains a story of love and survival from a time when people were searching. Searching for themselves and their place in a world that offered less and less space and safety…
The waves have carried this message to you, through storms and calm seas, waiting for the right moment to wash ashore. Just as you may be waiting for answers in a time that seems full of uncertainty.
The Perspective of the Spirit World
Before I continue, it is important to understand that the Spirit World looks at our problems from their world. When we immerse ourselves in the spirit world and make contact with deceased loved ones, we always do so from the place where we currently are.
I observe that on an emotional level there is an enormous involvement in the suffering in our world. The injustice is massive, and seems to be getting worse and worse. Yet, apart from the daily reality, there is also another perspective.
The Spirit World focuses primarily on awareness, insights and lessons. They therefore know that on a deeper level the world must go through this phase of adversity. Do they live in an atmosphere of 'It was meant to be this way'? Yes and no — on a personal level they lament the suffering that will continue to feed generations with hatred.
The Great Transformation
In the current phase we are going through a transformation in which all (sacred) structures and systems will fall if they do not serve a higher purpose. These are achievements that our world has made into truths, but have no place in serving humanity.
Wars, pandemics, natural disasters are expressions to make space for a new foundation. Only later will we see where light and love will bloom. It gives perspective to realise that this phase is necessary for a new generation of children who can build from the light.
And that is visible in our society. Although they will struggle with the balance between a soul connection and externalities, they fight their way free of the old.
Your Own Light in the Undercurrent
I can well imagine that the turmoil of the world sometimes overwhelms you. The question then is: how do we find and preserve ourselves in a world that increasingly loses sight of the heart? The reassurance lies in the fact that we as people all deal with this. In that regard we are all in the same boat.
It is important to gain a deeper understanding of your meaning here on earth and in this life. However much we want to make a big difference with our — largely seemingly small — contribution, our light merges into a larger undercurrent. This undercurrent is the collective spiritual presence that, like a bundled light through us humans, points the way to a new phase for humanity.
However negligible the individual contribution may seem, every reinforcement of the great light in this world is badly needed.
Small Drops, Large Stones
You may not be able to change the news, and most likely you are not going to bring that to this world. Focus therefore on the undercurrent that does not focus on everyday reality, but on an awareness from person to person that will make the difference for humanity.
From the spirit world you are appreciated for the small step you take as a human being, but which in fact represents a great step for humanity. Without knowing it, you may mean the most to people you do not know and who remain unseen by you. In small ways that could be someone who passes you and exchanges a glance of mutual understanding — the unconditional gesture that the recipient needs that day to take a next step.
Why This Time Is Necessary
Let this above all not be an excuse to proclaim from the ego that we have reinvented the wheel. The many generations before us have come and gone to make this moment possible. The world regulates itself, and although humanity thinks it can increasingly manipulate this, mother nature will always remain an unsurpassed force.
From the great clearing, our earth will enter a new phase. Wars will remain where trauma exists in this world. Our lesson is certainly to gain a deeper understanding of trauma. From that, generational cycles can be broken and humanity can become aware, in an awakening state, of its contribution to a better world. Without putting personal gain first.
You Are the Light
You are the light in this world, and you are already doing what you do. Embrace the fullness of your spiritual presence and see how this is part of a greater service.
By shifting the focus, perhaps a little more distance from the big bad outside world arises, but the incoming and outgoing stream of light inspired by the soul will lead you to fulfilment. That is the wish of the spirit world: to fulfil you with the satisfaction that as a human being and individual you make a difference for humanity. Even if the impact of that only comes to bloom after you have passed.
Keep things small, enjoy the connection knowing that from that intention small drops of water have been forming enormous stones for centuries.
The Message of the Bottle
This bottle message has found its way to you because you are ready to receive this message. You are a beautiful person, and your contribution — however small — is part of a greater plan that is unfolding.
In times of chaos and transformation, it is precisely the quiet light bearers like you who make the difference. Not through grand gestures, but by being authentic, by radiating love where there is hatred, by offering hope where there is despair.

Spiritual medium & guide
From an early age I felt that there was an outer world and an inner side. Those two worlds lived alongside each other for a long time. It was only when I dared to enter into a deeper connection that everything changed. I found peace and more grip on my development and my life. Now it is my mission to help others in recognising and developing their intuitive abilities.
My work as a Medium I do alongside my career in IT, where I am active in the corporate domain. I have now been teaching two annual training groups for five years and I demonstrate both in the Netherlands and abroad. It is special to connect both worlds in this way.
My background
I grew up in an entrepreneurial family in the Rotterdam area. My parents had their own business and survived all the challenges that came with it. Spirituality was never a common subject at our dinner table. It was after my father passed away that I became interested in spirituality. Without any knowledge or experience I took my first steps in Mediumship.
My Mediumship became a structured development when I met Mavis Pittilla. She has trained and guided me for over ten years. It is an honour and pleasure to contribute to her 50-year legacy. I have made many friends within the community and together we love to share our passion for Spirit.
Alongside my work for the SNU I demonstrate and teach Evidential Mediumship at the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is a beautiful place and a pleasure to work for.
My mission
My mission is to serve Spirit and to train a new generation of mediums. For me that begins on the platform. I find it special to demonstrate my Mediumship and to connect the two worlds. My style of training is focused on sharing knowledge and the practical application of techniques. It is about showing people how they can develop their skills and enjoy the wonder that Mediumship is.
